What does it mean to be a creative person?

How can I create a more joyful and fulfilling life? How do I incorporate more creativity into my daily routine when I already have such a busy schedule?

These were some of the questions I started asking myself when I was a designer living in New York City, and that ultimately led me to return to my native state of NH to search for a way to build a life I love.

Now, I’m thrilled to dedicate myself to a never-ending quest to discover new-old, beautiful and idea-provoking inspirations and to translate them into experiences and creations to share with others.

An Artist-Explorer

Today when people ask me what I do for a living, I’m never sure what to say.

I’m a mother to two wonderful, caring boys. A wife to a kind and hilarious husband. A life-long learner who is always seeking out new ideas and looking for ways to elevate even the most mundane daily experiences to surprise and delight those around me.

I’m also a homemaker who is still searching for the magical solution to keeping my kitchen clean for longer than two minutes. And the woman who feels like an awkward middle schooler trying to make friends with the moms at preschool drop off. And the person who really should get more sleep.

But I’ve learned not to wait until you have it all figured out to prioritize creativity. That it will enrich everything else and many times help lead the way to creative solutions to everything life throws at you (here’s lookin' at you kitchen counters!)

Let’s get making in the messy.
